A South African investment fund is urging an Illinois judge to freeze nearly $60 million in assets belonging to Ghanaian and Maltese businessman John Eric Kodwo Taylor, whom it alleges may try to hide his money to avoid paying an arbitral award stemming from a defaulted loan.
