Ginkgo Bioworks Inc. asked a Massachusetts federal judge on Wednesday for a $716,137 judgment against Pennsylvania-based Holistic Dental for not responding to its lawsuit seeking to collect on unpaid bills for COVID-19 tests it bought in 2021.

Ginkgo Bioworks Inc. filed suit in federal court Monday alleging two businesses that purchased millions of dollars' worth of COVID-19 tests from the biotechnology company in 2021 have failed to pay for all of those tests, with one still owing more than $3.5 million.
