A life insurer dropped its breach of contract lawsuit against IBM over the tech company's performance of threat management services, telling a Louisiana federal court that the parties have reached an agreement.

IBM must void invoices and owes an insurance company damages relating to the technology giant's failure to fully implement cybersecurity products, the insurer told a Louisiana federal court, saying the tech company breached contract because of its "defective" performance.
