Two New York firms on Friday asked a Connecticut federal judge to appoint them as co-lead counsel in shareholder lawsuits against Stanley Black & Decker Inc. leaders who allegedly misled investors about consumer demand during the COVID-19 pandemic and failed to mitigate $857.3 million in losses, an unopposed motion indicates.
