The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Monday urged a Georgia federal court to dismiss a refrigerator coolant manufacturer's lawsuit that alleges Congress inappropriately directed the agency to phase down hydrofluorocarbons.

A Georgia-based refrigerator coolant manufacturer has asked a Peach State federal judge to scrap a section of the American Investment Act after it claims Congress illegally followed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's discretion to phase down hydrofluorocarbons.
