Valve Corp. has urged a Washington federal judge to grant it permission to directly contact game buyers whom the gaming marketplace company is suing to block them from continuing to arbitrate their antitrust claims, saying some gamers want out of arbitration, but their counsel at Bucher Law PLLC is not responsive to their queries.

Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP is fighting a bid by Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease LLP to take the lead in a proposed consolidated class action against gaming giant Valve Corp., saying that after they defeated Valve's arbitration provision Vorys sought to "opportunistically" seize the leadership role.

Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease LLP is opposing a bid from Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP and Bucher Law PLLC to take the lead in a proposed consumer class action against gaming giant Valve Corp., saying the firms just "piggybacked" off Vorys' work in an identical suit.
