Discovery Hearing
TEXT Minute Entry for a stenographically-recorded video conference held on 5/2/2024 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mitchell J. Katz re 46 and 47 defendants' Motions to Quash: Judge Katz reads into the record the status of the discovery issues before the court and summarizes the case to this point. Judge Katz issues a decision on the Motions and ultimately granted in part and denied in part # 46 and # 47 . Judge Katz allows for the Attorneys to be heard regarding his decision. The parties should rely on the transcript of this proceeding for the supporting reasons for that decision. The parties inform Judge Katz of any further outstanding discovery items. Plaintiffs Counsel is to prepare a Letter to send to Defense Counsel for review to be sent to the Nonparties regarding the subpoenas by May 10th. Defense Counsel shall respond to the Letter by May 17th. The Discovery Cutoff deadline and Dispositive Motion filing deadline have been extended, per the accompanying Text Order.
