The Genius Of The Electoral College Shouldn't Be Ignored

The most controversial and contentious presidential election in memory has now been followed by the most controversial post-election in a century. Much of the controversy was driven by the idea that Hillary Clinton won the national popular vote and therefore should be president of the U.S. However, this argument has some serious flaws that point us to understanding some of the genius of the Electoral College.
