Wigdor Drops Biden Sex Assault Accuser Reade As Client

Law360 (May 22, 2020, 8:33 PM EDT) -- Prominent #MeToo litigator Douglas H. Wigdor said Friday his firm has stopped working with Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer accusing former Vice President Joe Biden of sexual assault.

Wigdor, who has successfully pursued cases against Harvey Weinstein, Uber Technologies Inc., and Bill O'Reilly and Fox News, started working with Reade two weeks ago. The lawyer didn't give his reason for dropping Reade as a client.
