PTAB Scraps Most Of Robot Vacuum Patent

The Patent Trial and Appeal Board has found that most of the claims in a patent covering a newer feature on iRobot brands of robotic floor cleaners would have been obvious from older patents, a decision that comes a little over a month after a U.S. International Trade Commission judge ruled that products made by rival SharkNinja likely infringed the patent.
