Minute Order Order on Motion for Summary Judgment Order on Motion for Sanctions Order on Motion to Enforce Order on Motion to Extend/Shorten Time
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 4/7/2026.
Pending before the Court is the 99 Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Defendant Steven McDade. Defendant McDade fails to provide any points or authorities to support his Motion for Summary Judgment, nor does he attach a single exhibit. See LR 7-2(d). Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the 99 Motion for Summary Judgment is DENIED without prejudice.
Next, pending before the Court is the 101 Motion for Sanctions filed by McDade. Again, McDade fails to provide points and authorities in support of his motion. Therefore, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the 101 Motion for Sanctions is DENIED without prejudice.
Further pending before the Court is the 102 Motion to Enforce and 103 Amended Motion to Enforce. It appears that McDade requests the Court to enforce the stay in this case. This case was stayed pending the appeal before the CFR court and remains stayed because the appeal is still pending, thus it is unclear why the Court would need to enforce the stay. Furthermore, McDade's 102 Motion to Enforce fails to provide any points or authorities to support his motion. See LR 7-2(d). Moreover, McDade failed to seek leave of court to file the 103 Amended Motion to Enforce which contained supplemental authority. See LR 7-2(g). Thus, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the 102 and 103 Motions are DENIED.
Lastly, pending before the Court is Federal Defendants' 106 Motion to Extend Time to reply to the 101 , 102 , and 103 Motions. Because those motions are denied, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the 106 Motion to Extend Time is DENIED as moot.
