DC Circ. Panel Skeptical Of DOE Nuclear Waste Fees

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 2:46 PM EDT) -- A skeptical D.C. Circuit panel pressed the U.S. Department of Energy on Wednesday on how it can justify the $750 million in nuclear waste fund fees it still collects each year from nuclear power companies without having a fully implemented nuclear waste disposal program, with one judge suggesting the fee should be dropped to $0.
