Fed. Circ. Agrees Tellabs Didn't Infringe Fujitsu Patent

Law360, Washington (May 2, 2014, 7:10 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday affirmed a lower court's decision that upheld a Fujitsu Ltd. patent for optical communications technology but determined that Tellabs Operations Inc. didn't infringe the disputed intellectual property.

In a per curiam ruling, the three-judge panel agreed with an Illinois federal judge's January 2013 decision denying both Fujitsu and Tellabs judgment as a matter of law in one of a slew of patent infringement cases between the two parties.
