Shell To Reduce Alaska Oil Exploration Plans

Law360 (May 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Shell Oil Co. has withdrawn its beleaguered plan to drill off Alaska's coast and will replace it with a reduced exploration plan, the oil giant announced after a prolonged battle with environmental groups.
