SC Wins Return Of Seroquel Suit To State Court

Law360, New York (May 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted the state of South Carolina's request to send back to state court its lawsuit against AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP related to the marketing of anti-psychotic drug Seroquel and the state's Medicaid payments.

Judge Henry F. Floyd of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina on Tuesday agreed with the state's attorney general that the case belonged back in state court, where it was originally filed, and rejected the drugmaker's claims that the lawsuit raised substantial questions of federal law....
