Tyco Wins Dismissal Of Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (September 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a whistleblower lawsuit against Tyco Electronics Corp., after it became known that the plaintiff lied in his deposition testimony and deleted electronic evidence.

As part of the order granting Tyco’s motion to dismiss, the court also allowed the defendant’s counsel to make an application for attorneys fees and costs.
