Big Dig Contractor Pleads Guilty In Tunnel Accident

Law360 (May 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One of the largest contractors in Boston's Big Dig highway construction project has pled guilty to 39 federal charges related to a 2004 accident that flooded a highway tunnel, but prosecutors dropped 10 more charges stemming from a 2006 incident that killed a woman.

Modern Continental Corp. entered its guilty plea Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
