Mass. Agency Revokes Madoff Feeder Fund's License

Law360, New York (May 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Massachusetts' top securities enforcement office has revoked the license of Madoff feeder firm Cohmad Securities Corp. and ordered it to pay a $100,000 fine for allegedly refusing to cooperate with an investigation of the fund's relation to the Ponzi scheme, in violation of state securities law.

Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts William F. Galvin announced the decision from the Massachusetts Securities Division on Thursday.
