Experts Back Large-Scale Carbon Storage Efforts

Law360, New York (May 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Industrial and environmental leaders have thrown their support behind a bill sponsored by Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., that aims to launch a pilot program to store large quantities of carbon dioxide emissions underground, saying that the time has come to enact a regulatory and legal framework encouraging large-scale carbon sequestration development.
