Judge Denies Damages In BondPro Trade Secret Suit

Law360, New York (September 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A circuit judge has decided to uphold BondPro Corp.’s liability win in a diversity suit for the theft of its trade secret for a manufacturing process, but has rejected the company’s claims for damages and an injunction.

Judge Richard Posner ruled Wednesday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit that Siemens Power Generation Inc.’s alleged theft of manufacturing company BondPro’s slot cell process to drape insulation around a mold did not entitle BondPro to any damages.
