Teamsters Drag Amazon-Whole Foods Suppliers Before NLRB

Law360 (February 28, 2018, 8:35 PM EST) -- Inc. and Whole Foods Market Inc.’s food distribution network is facing legal scrutiny in Colorado for violations of federal labor laws as the online behemoth considers Denver for its new headquarters.

Region 27 of the National Labor Relations Board, based in Denver, last week consolidated two cases brought by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 455 against joint employers United Natural Foods Inc. and Albert’s Organics — Amazon-Whole Foods’ largest suppliers nationally — for obstructing workers’ rights at their Aurora, Colorado, facility.
