Toshiba Sues Imation, Others Over DVD Patents

Law360 (May 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Toshiba Corp. has hit Imation Corp. and several other recordable DVD makers with a patent infringement suit for allegedly using its DVD technology without a license.

Toshiba, which played a large role in developing DVD technology, filed the lawsuit on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
