EFCA Won't Pass Without Compromise: Obama

Law360 (May 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama recently lauded the Employee Free Choice Act as a tool to level the playing field for workers and stop the “monkey business” that frustrates union organizing. But the bill doesn't have enough votes to pass the U.S. Senate as it's written, he said.
