Teva Blocking Senate Opioid Investigation, McCaskill Says

Law360 (March 6, 2018, 7:36 PM EST) -- Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is refusing to provide the U.S. Senate with documents requested as part of an investigation into how drug manufacturers and distributors contributed to the opioid crisis, Sen. Claire McCaskill said Tuesday.

The Missouri Democrat had sent information requests to several drugmakers and distributors, largely about monitoring and investigating suspicious orders, and Teva is the only one that has said it won't fully cooperate, she said.
