Bill Proposes 7 Days Paid Sick Leave For US Workers

Law360 (May 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro, D-Conn., reintroduced on Monday the Healthy Families Act to mandate a week of paid sick or health-related leave per year for all U.S. employees, hoping that new momentum from nationwide swine-flu concerns and support from the Obama administration would finally push the legislation through Congress.
