EU Asks OECD To Check US Tax Law For Harmful Practices

Parker (March 12, 2018, 7:37 PM EDT) -- The European Union has asked the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to investigate whether the recently enacted U.S. federal tax reform law violates international standards on harmful tax practices, an EU official confirmed on Monday.
A high-level EU working group on taxation made a request for the investigation to the OECD on Feb. 28, the official told Law360.
