Ct. 1514 (2017) reshaped the law on venue for patent infringement cases under 28 U.S.C. § 1400(b). In particular, it explained that the defendant's "residence" under the statute is limited to its state of incorporation. But the court left unresolved the scope of the other grounds for venue — i.e., the place where the defendant has "committed acts of infringement."...
