Law Firms Get Low Marks On Innovation From In-House Attys

Law360 (March 15, 2018, 6:08 PM EDT) -- In the age of technology and artificial intelligence, a majority of United States corporate legal departments say they’ve seen no innovation from their law firms and legal service providers in the past year, the research firm Acritas said Thursday.

The United Kingdom-based firm surveyed more than 2,000 senior in-house counsel and found that 69 percent cited a lack of innovation by law firms and legal service providers. The findings are part of the firm’s annual Sharplegal study.
