Delta-T Sues Manufacturer Over Faulty Parts, Delays

Law360, New York (May 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ethanol technology firm Delta-T Corp. has sued an industrial equipment manufacturer for allegedly making defective parts for an ethanol plant that stalled construction of the facility and cost Delta-T at least $9.8 million.

In a complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Delta-T sued Harris Thermal Transfer Products Inc. for breach of contract for allegedly failing to manufacture several evaporators according to the specifications of the original contract between the parties, which caused the evaporators to be defective and...
