Culinary Institutes Take Trademark Dispute To Court

Law360, New York (February 25, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- The top U.S. culinary school has filed a trademark lawsuit against a food accreditation institute with a similar name.

The Culinary Institute of America filed a complaint in federal district court in San Francisco against American Culinary Institute, Inc, alleging trademark infringement.

The complaint, which was filed on February 11, 2004, seeks an injunction and unspecified damages.
