'Emily The Strange' Creator Sues Over Book Likeness

Law360 (May 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The company behind "Emily the Strange" brand apparel and books has filed a declaratory judgment suit against the creators of the "Nate the Great" book series, who claim that the gothlike character of Emily is too similar to a young girl featured in the series it published decades earlier.
