UGI Not Liable For Cleanup At 9 Gas Plants: Judge

Law360 (May 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delving into the complex corporate history of utility businesses in the days before widespread use of natural gas and electricity, a judge has ruled that UGI Utilities Inc. should not be held liable for cleanup costs of nine manufactured gas facilities that have been declared Superfund sites.
