Trump Slams Dems On Taxes As House Punts Vote On Cuts

Law360 (April 13, 2018, 2:28 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump criticized Senate Democrats’ tax plan to pay for infrastructure on Friday, even as House GOP leaders pushed back a vote that would make individual cuts in the new federal tax law permanent.

The Democrats’ plan would take away money from average Americans, Trump said from the White House Friday, as a vote on H.R. 4886, making the law’s individual cuts permanent, was delayed in the U.S. House of Representatives.
