Supreme Court Refuses To Hear Damages Case Against IRS

Law360 (April 16, 2018, 3:18 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court denied certiorari in an order issued Monday, letting stand a Seventh Circuit's rejection of a case alleging the IRS improperly extended a statute of limitations on assessing back taxes and hid the fact when negotiating a settlement.
