Law360 (April 18, 2018, 6:50 PM EDT) -- It’s the “chicken or the egg” conundrum of the working world: Are meetings awful because we hate them, or do we hate meetings because they are awful?

When Harvard Business Review surveyed 182 managers in a range of industries, 65 percent said meetings keep them from completing their own work, 71 percent said meetings are unproductive and inefficient, and 62 percent said meetings miss opportunities to bring the team closer together.[1] Another survey of 1,000 office workers identified unnecessary and off-topic meetings as primary pet peeves.[2]...
