ABA To Mull Model 'Wellness' Policy For Struggling Attys

Law360 (April 26, 2018, 7:06 PM EDT) -- Policymakers at the American Bar Association are expected to consider a model law firm policy aimed at promoting lawyer well-being later this year, an ABA committee chair said Thursday.

Speaking at the group's spring malpractice conference in Washington, D.C., attorney Terry Harrell said she also hoped to present for a vote by the ABA's House of Delegates this summer a "pledge" statement that firms could adopt to demonstrate their commitment to the health of lawyers and the legal profession.
