Insurer Off Hook For Pa. City's Fees In Civil Rights Suit

Law360, New York (May 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has found that a Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. unit doesn't have to cover attorneys' fees for the City of Hazleton, Pa., in a civil rights suit, but dismissed the insurer's bid for a declaration that it need not defend the city, citing an appeal in the underlying case.
