EPA Sues Engine Importers Over CAA Violations

Law360, New York (May 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has sued three engine companies for allegedly importing and selling more than 78,000 nonroad Chinese-made engines that do not meet federal air pollution standards.

Filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by the U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of the EPA against PowerTrain Inc., Wood Sales Co.
