Cold-Eeze Maker, Shareholders' Proxy Fight Deepens

Law360, New York (June 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest move in a protracted proxy contest between the board of directors for cold remedy manufacturer The Quigley Corp. and a group of shareholders, a federal judge barred a board installation set for Monday from taking place after Quigley claimed it had uncovered a kickback scheme involving its chief medical officer.
