Sony, Others Sued Over Integrated Circuit Patent

Law360, New York (June 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A medical device maker and its patent-holding subsidiary have accused Sony Corp. of America, Fujitsu Microelectronics America Inc. and others of infringing a patent for integrated circuit technology.

Columbia, Md.-based Innurvation and Innurvation IP LLC filed a suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland over U.S. Patent Number 6,297,668, which relates to a specific way to structure chip technology.

The complaint also names Toshiba America Inc. and Freescale Semiconductor Inc. as defendants.
