C.H. Robinson Forks Over $15M To Settle Bias Suit

Law360, New York (September 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- More than 200 former and current female employees of C.H. Robinson Worldwide have received a $15 million payout, after accusing the freight-service company of discriminating against them because of their gender.

A federal judge signed off on the deal on Tuesday, marking the end of a nearly 4-year-old case that alleged C.H. Robinson used gender as a weapon to deny pay and promotion.
