Sierra Club, Others Howl Over Wolf Delisting

Law360 (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Sierra Club and other environmental groups on Tuesday challenged a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service rule removing protections for gray wolves as an endangered species in Idaho and Montana.

Earthjustice, the Sierra Club, the Center for Biological Diversity and other conservation groups filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana, alleging that the delisting is “fraught with legal infirmities.”
