Southwest Hit With Class Action Over Unsafe Planes

Law360, New York (June 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Southwest Airlines Co. gambled with passengers' lives for years and should refund their ticket purchases, two customers have alleged in a proposed class action suit.

The airline breached an express warranty when it flew passengers on planes it knew weren't legally airworthy, two customers claim in a class action suit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
