Oil Groups, County Sue Over Allegheny Forest Deal

Law360, New York (June 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Oil industry groups and Warren County, Pa., are fighting a court-approved settlement requiring the U.S. Forest Service to conduct environmental analyses before authorizing drilling in the Allegheny National Forest. The groups claim the environmental review isn't required by law for private oil and gas exploration.
