Marvell Trade Secret Saga Comes To Abrupt End

Law360, New York (June 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has killed a trade secret theft suit spurred by a 2001 message a Marvell Semiconductor Inc. lawyer unwittingly left on a rival's voice mail, ruling that Jasmine Networks Inc. lacks standing to sue because it no longer owns the intellectual property.

On Wednesday, Judge Thomas C. Edwards of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Santa Clara, granted Marvell's motion to dismiss Jasmine's second amended complaint for lack of standing.
