Datasci Settles Patent Litigation Against Datalabs

Law360, New York (September 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Datasci has settled the lawsuit it filed against Datalabs Inc. for allegedly infringing patents concerning the collection and validation of clinical trial data.

Under the terms of the settlement, Datalabs has entered into a non-exclusive licensing arrangement on a going-forward basis.

Datasci filed suit in the U.S. District Court of Maryland in July, claiming that Datalabs “has and continues to infringe directly, indirectly, contributorily and/or by inducement” the claims of Datasci’s patent.
