Doubts Raised Over Forever 21 In Gottschalks Ch. 11

Law360, New York (June 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Objections have piled up over Forever 21 Inc.'s bid to take over more than a dozen leases and three properties of bankrupt regional department store chain Gottschalks Inc., with landlords and others worried that various lease operating covenants will be breached if the deal goes through.

More than half a dozen objections were filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, with most mimicking the one brought by landlord 2401 Butano Drive.
