Conn. AG Queries Fannie, Freddie Over Firm Choices

Law360 (June 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Connecticut Attorney General's Office has asked mortgage lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and mortgage-processing services company Lender Processing Services Inc. to explain how they select their legal representation in foreclosure cases, amid complaints that only a few firms get the cases.
