Kennedy Unveils Health Care Reform Bill In Senate

Law360, New York (June 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., has introduced a bill that aims to overhaul the nation’s health care system by requiring all Americans to have health insurance and barring insurers from refusing to cover pre-existing conditions, among other things.

The Affordable Health Choices Act was revealed Tuesday by Kennedy, who has been working on the measure along with Democratic members of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
