Trustee Calls Anchor Blue Outlet Sale 'Troubling'

Law360, New York (June 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing the Chapter 11 proceedings of casual clothing retailer and outlet operator Anchor Blue Retail Group Inc. has characterized the sale of 72 outlet stores to Levi Strauss & Co. as "troubling."

In her limited objection filed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis said the rapid timing of the proposed sale of Anchor Blue's Dockers Outlet by Most to Levi's might preclude the company from getting the best price.
